Alano Marketing - Describe your audience. Alano sends it.
An AI-native customer activation platform for email and WhatsApp
Alano Marketing turns your customer data into executable email and WhatsApp campaigns. Describe who you want to reach in plain language and Alano returns the rules it inferred, the count each rule contributed, and sample records - before the audience can be used in a campaign.
How it works
- Bring your data: Upload a CSV, push through the API, stream webhook events, or sync audience membership from Hightouch, Census or your own pipeline.
- Describe the audience: Write it in plain language. Alano grounds the interpretation in your actual field values, compiles it into a validated query, and shows the count contributed by each rule.
- Activate: Launch email and WhatsApp from published, immutable versions. Each run records its own audience snapshot so the recipient list cannot change while the send is in progress.
- Measure and reuse: Delivery, engagement and first-party conversion events flow back into the event store and become targetable in your next audience.
Capabilities
- AI Audience Generation: Describe your audience in plain language and get validated, previewable rules with the count each rule contributed.
- Email Campaigns: Reusable master templates with locked and editable regions, personalization with fallbacks, test sends, and automatic UTM tagging.
- WhatsApp Campaigns: Meta-approved templates with live approval status, parameter mapping, phone validation, and delivery and read tracking.
- WhatsApp Inbox: Threaded replies with media and voice notes, quick replies, and the originating campaign shown alongside the conversation.
- Journey Builder (Preview): Visual multi-step flows with entry, send, wait, condition, segment, outcome and exit nodes, validated before publishing.
- Consent & Suppression: A consent ledger recording every grant and withdrawal, with consent re-checked at the moment of every send.
- Deliverability Controls: Threshold-based auto-pause on bounces and complaints, sending-domain verification, and warm-up budgets enforced at send time.
- Business Unit Governance: Run multiple brands or markets from one workspace with seven roles, capability-based permissions and a full audit trail.
- Campaign Analytics: Delivery, engagement and first-party conversion events that flow back into the event store and become targetable.
- Reverse-ETL Audience Sync: Push audience membership straight from Hightouch, Census or your own pipeline using a scoped workspace API key.
Safe sending by design
A message only goes out if the recipient clears every gate: audience match, channel consent, not suppressed, verified sending domain, no active kill switch, consent and suppression re-checked at the moment of send, and a working unsubscribe link attached. A campaign pauses itself when bounces pass 5% or complaints pass 0.1%, and the reason is recorded on the run and in the audit log.
- Consent ledger recording every grant and withdrawal with its source and evidence
- One-click unsubscribe headers, signed opt-out links, a public opt-out page, and WhatsApp STOP keywords
- Suppression by profile or identity, per channel or across the workspace
- Sending-domain verification with guided DKIM and SPF setup, plus warm-up budgets
- Three levels of stop: cancel a run, pause the workspace, or halt the platform
Built for teams running more than one brand
The business unit is the primary operating and permission boundary: each one owns its own data, audiences, templates, campaigns, analytics and users. Seven roles with capability-based permissions separate building a campaign from publishing it, and publishing from executing it. Published versions are immutable, so historical runs stay linked to the exact content, logic and audience snapshot used at the time.
