Object Builder
The Object Builder lets you create and manage custom objects to track anything your organization needs, such as invoices, orders, projects, or internal records—directly inside Alano.
You can customize fields using a drag-and-drop editor and link objects to existing CRM entities.

Step 1: Go to Custom Objects
Select Settings
In Settings, select Custom Objects
Click Create Custom Object (or Create Your First Custom Object)
Step 2: Set up basic object information
Fill in the required details for your custom object:
Object name – The display name of your object
Object key – A unique identifier used internally
Description – A short description of what this object is used for
Status – Turn Active on if the object is ready to use
CRM entity links – Choose which entities this object can link to (Customers, Contacts, Deals, Tasks, etc.)
Visibility – Decide whether the object is public or only visible within your organization
Display layout – Define how the object appears in the UI
Step 3: Add custom fields
Use the drag-and-drop panel on the left to add custom fields
Choose from different field types depending on your needs
Reorder or remove fields at any time
Step 4: Create the custom object
Review your configuration
Click Create Custom Object to save
Once created, your custom object can be used across the CRM and linked to relevant records to keep everything organized and connected.
